The heavy doors of Casa Lercaro are closed at nightfall ...

But inside everything is prepared and waiting for the visitor of "Museum Nights." A journey begins, from the past and towards our present, moving through the rooms, full of objects and pieces that speak of the history of Tenerife, from its conquest over five hundred years ago, to the present.

Little by little, the names of the old inhabitants of the House begin to emerge and their history is intermingled with those of other families that visitors will know on their outdoor walk, outside the Museum, through the streets of La Laguna.

On a tour of the historic streets of San Agustín and La Carrera we will hear stories of foreign merchants, incorrupt nuns, wealthy corsairs, famous intellectuals, soldiers of stale ancestry, pious patrons, repentant maidens, orphans, beggars, exiles ... and even souls in grief turned into ghosts or decapitated. As time travelers, our visitors will see how the buildings and streets of this World Heritage City are once again filled with the echoes of the past.

In short, a beautiful, exciting and rich history that will feel heirs at the end of the journey.
