The CAMP SITE is classified as 1st class. It is about 10 kms from the Reina Sofia Tenerife South airport, at Km. 1.5 on the TF-653. From the TF-1 airport, to take the Las Galletas or Guaza exit.
It is open all year, and has been operating since 1989. It has room for 6,000 people; 2500 sites for tents, 250 for caravans and 40 wooden cabins. It also has showers, swimming pool, laundry, supermarket and bar.

The municipal camp site is set on one of the coastal areas of the municipality, Punta de Hidalgo, a place with natural, sea-water pools where you can enjoy lovely coastal and mountain scenery and marvellous sunsets. Several tracks and trails start from here, heading towards the Anaga nature park.
LOCATION AND ACCESS:
The camp site is 20 metres from the beach or bathing area. To get there, you take the road from La Laguna to Punta del Hidalgo, taking the second turn off to the left after entering the village. (See site map in attached document).

Area and capacity:
It covers an area of 24,000 m2, divided into two zones: an upper zone with 15 plots (for tents only) and a lower zone (for caravans, mobile homes and huts), with a capacity for approximately 312 people.
MANAGEMENT AND PRICES:
The camp site is owned by the municipal authorities and run directly by the La Laguna Council until the process of awarding the concession, currently on-going, is completed. The prices for the public until such time as the concession is awarded can be consulted in the by-laws and in the attached document of tariffs.
