Located at just five kilometres from Playa de las Américas, Golf Costa Adeje was opened in 1998 with the ambition of becoming an important leisure complex in Tenerife.

The first 18 of the 27 holes are spread over 800,000 m2. The course was designed by Pepe Gancedo, who has left his prestigious mark on various golf courses in Europe and America. The philosophy of this designer is that a golf course should adapt to the terrain, respecting the flora and natural surroundings.

This philosophy is immediately apparent at Costa Adeje where the layout of the fairways blends in perfectly with the natural contours of the land. Over half a million square metres of old stone walling have been restored and the greens have been strategically placed around the course, offering spectacular views of the sea, the island of La Gomera, Playa de las Américas and the Adeje mountains.

On the whole, the greens are ample. The route, structured on pars 3, 4 and 5, opens with a long par 5 of 510 metres. Hole 18 is also a par 5 of 500 metres. The course (par 72) route  is 6,330 metres long.
