PLAYA DE SAN MARCOS

You get to this beach along a turn-off from the C-820 road from Icod de los Vinos.

It is a small but sandy beach.

The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for 1998, by the European Environmental Education Foundation (FEE).

Quite crowded, especially in summer.

Be careful of the currents. There are several bars and restaurants in the area, and there are showers and changing rooms.
