2026-2027 Opera Season
The Auditorio de Tenerife presents its 2026-2027 opera season under the theme "The world seems immense and silent." Opera de Tenerife will offer twelve titles: eight from the regular season and four from the preseason program, which includes the third edition of "Opera en minúscula" (Opera in Lowercase). This provides a full program of opera performances from September 2026 to June 2027. The Sala Sinfónica (Symphony Hall) is the main venue for the program, which also takes place at Espacio La Granja and Teatro Leal.
Opera de Tenerife presents an ambitious new season, full of challenges, striving for the quality and excellence to which audiences have come to expect. From the Classical period of Mozart to the newly created zarzuela by Javier Carmena, the season offers a rich repertoire through in-house productions and collaborations with major theaters.
The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will collaborate on six of the programs, five of which feature the Tenerife Opera-Intermezzo Choir and three with a dance troupe from the Tenerife International Dance Center. One of the new features this season is the performance schedule, which has been moved forward half an hour to 7:00 p.m., except on Sundays, when it will begin at 6:00 p.m.
