Granadilla de Abona

Granadilla is a picturesque town of winding streets, where the new flirts with the old without loosing its identity. El Médano, a beach of fine golden sand, is down on the coast of the borough. It is a calmly beautiful spot and one of the best places on earth for windsurfing.

The agricultural wealth of Granadilla comes from potatoes, other fruit and vegetables, cereals and vineyards.

A trip to Madre del Agua (lunar landscape) is highly recommended. There are good hotels and holiday facilities in El Médano and everything you need for water sports.
