Buenavista del Norte

According to Cuscoy, Buenavista is an old town with a lot of character. A walk around the streets is a special delight, that can also be enjoyed in some other spots in the borough.

You have to mention the long history and tradition of the "Nuestra Señora de los Remedios" band - nearly seventy years old.

Other sites of ethnographic interest are to be found in the Teno Rural Park: the Baile de las Libreas dance in El Palmar and the Baile de la Piñata dance from Teno Alto.

There are also beautiful country houses, such as the main house of the Hacienda de San Juan de Taco, and other examples of religious architecture scattered around the borough.
