Tegueste

The Anaga Rural Park is in the extreme eastern sector of the borough. This is an area of geomorphic, botanical and wild life interest. It holds the oldest geological formations of the island, along with many endemic plant species.

The Las Quebradas recreation area is the responsibility of the Island Cabildo's Department of the Environment. You can get here from Pedro Alvarez, along the road up to the mountains.

Pico de Los Lázaros, in the north west sector, is of great natural interest.
